Drowning in darkness
sinking and falling is
all I can remember.
I have memories of warm
lights, but that’s from long
ago.
Now, no warmth exists.
No light meets with me.
My thoughts of hope are
gone and my thoughts of
other things are, too.
Worry is always by my
side.
Sanctuary.
A safe haven.
I don’t know where
that is.
I’m lost, and it feels
stupid.
