Among all the
chaos, confusion,
and frustration,
I found myself
almost losing hope.
The flame that surrounds
my heart was put out, and
so I wanted to shout.
To curse those who have
done the same to me.
To fight evil with evil.
Or rather lash out,
depending on the
circumstances.
But neither of these
options are worth it.
None of them
whatsoever.
It’s been so hard not to
result to these options.
Anyone left scarred and
in the dark for too long
could get consumed.
Yet my choice wasn’t
to give up, and I won’t.
No one should.
So, no matter what,
I will be successful.
Thanks to that flicker
of light…..
I was able to realize
that I am not alone.
