No More (34)

Stuck for an outline,
being traced by the
frown line,

expected to do
great things.

Expected to do
great things.

Life is the stage,
acting is a
plague.

And some things
are vague.

Some things are
vague.

No more pleasing
just to impress.

Just to put smiles
on everyones’
faces.

So I’ll confess one
perfusing secret,
flowing from my
thoughts like
time and space.

No more wheezing
on less oxygen.

No more appeasing
to keep the peace.

I’ve said enough
and that’s the
end.
