With enough energy, I
manage to get half of
my body through the
window.
The floating girl with
long deep crimson hair
extends her hand for me
to take.
My body floats out of
the room, and I grab
the mysterious girl’s
hand.
Her sweet smile instantly
morphs into a wide,
sinister grin.
H a h a h a h a h a h a !
She holds my hand tightly
as we both descend toward
the surface, which mirrors
the blue sky above.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh!”
I scream to the top
of my lugs.
In an instant, the girl
disappears, and the
blue sky beneath
reveals its true
nature.
I’ve been tricked,
falling headfirst
into the concrete
white stairs.
S…..mash.
C r a c k.
C r a c k.
That was the sound
of all the bones in
my body snapping
and breaking like
thin twigs.
Yet there’s no pain
as I feel hot liquid
ooze out of my body.
My vision fades to black.
