I enter through a random
door and notice that it’s
a nicely furnished room.
It’s nicer than where
Tsukino was staying.
As I step into the
room, Ronin follows
behind me.
He looks happy,
and I wear the
same expression.
I shyly make my way
to the freestanding
black mirror.
My reflection looks
beautiful, as if I’ve
been restored.
The longer I stare,
the more I notice
something.
Standing behind me
are ghostly figures—
two of them.
It’s Nina and Ami.
I scream and turn
away from the mirror,
burying my face in
Ronin’s chest.
“What’s the matter,
honey?”
He asks clearly
concerned.
I become teary-eyed,
and reply, “I saw Nina
and Ami standing
behind me.”
I reply,
hating
to
see
their
faces.
