While studying with Ronin
about Beladim when
the two of us were alive,
I can recall a few minor
details.
For starters, time flows very
differently here; the days are
long, especially at night.
The scenery also changes.
It usually alters with Ronin’s
commands or even my own.
However, with Tetsuya, the
scenery outside transforms
into nothing but a pure sky.
This pure sky of Earth is the
current backdrop.
The ground doesn’t create any
optical illusions.
With Tetsuya, there’s an entire
sky, and this whole mansion
floats aimlessly.
“Did your brother have an
interest in the occult?”
I ask Ronin who looks
annoyed,
“In a way, he did, but nothing
too serious. Yet he’s smart
and likes to snoop into
things that don’t
belong to him.”
He replies.
“Maybe if we torture
him, he won’t be
so much of a
nuisance.”
I blurt out.
Ronin nods in
approval.
