“How did you do that?”
“Do what?”
I peek down the hall,
wanting to see if
Ronin truly left.
He did leave…
but so did the entire
hall I came from.
A wall has been replaced.
It blocks the direction I
just came from, as if it
was never there.
“Oh, if you’re wondering about
that, it’s a strong illusion created
by Tetsuya to keep us hidden
from malicious energy.”
Adam explains rather calmly.
I touch the wall, and it feels solid.
It seems too real for an illusion.
I back away and turn to stare
at the tall glass window
painted with hope.
That holy rose…..
My legs suddenly give
out as I fall.
I look down as an
overwhelming feeling
of peace washes over
me.
Unexpected words flow
from my mouth.
“You’re safe for
now. So don’t
worry….”
Tears stream down my face.
I wipe them away, smiling
just a little.
I remember…
I forgot….
Whenever there’s darkness,
light is also there, shining
the brightest.
Many are blind to
it.
Yet some are given
that special chance
to realize.
Don’t forget.
