“No way…..” I let
out a shaky breath.
Not knowing whether
I should cry or laugh.
Tetsu and I are
dead.
The more this realization
hits, the worse my sanity
begins to break,
losing the small amount
of stability it maintained
all this time.
“Don’t give in!”
Tetsuya warns,
grabbing both
of my hands.
I almost unconsciously
scratch at my neck.
“T-That weirdo…..”
I start to sob, noticing
the other thing he did
to me in that distant
and real memory.
“If you give into
your death,
Ronin wins.”
Tetsuya reveals.
“Didn’t he already
win?” I ask bitterly,
wishing I had the
strength to kill
Ronin for what
HE DID TO US.
THAT BASTARD.
WHAT A LUNATIC!
A white flashing and
gentle light calms my
thoughts.
It blinds my eyes before
restoring my sight and
mind.
Tetsuya is holding
me firmly in a hug.
I sniffle and hug
back.
“I’m sorry this happened.
If only I wasn’t stupid
enough to fall for
Ronin’s
lie.”
Tetsu apologizes.
I reply, “It’s okay.
Neither of us knew
his true intentions
before it was
too late.”
