As everyone ate their
food, I ate as well.
Everything tasted
so delicious.
My favorite was
salmon.
It had a distinct flavor
that I couldn’t help but
love.
I once again made eye
contact with Ronin, who
was already staring at
me.
For some reason, I
started to feel a bit
uneasy but paid it
no mind.
I went back to
eating, staring
down at my
plate.
“So, Ronin! Why were
you with that Cerise
girl?” Nina asked,
wearing a vexing
expression.
Ami laughed as if
Nina said something
funny.
Cerise.
Cerise.
Cerise.
I hadn’t seen
her since forever.
My dear cousin.
“Her and I are
acquaintances..”
Ronin replied
with no emotion.
“Hanging with her
will only tarnish
your reputation.
She’s a slut!”
Ami chimed in,
teasingly.
Nina laughed
in agreement.
Ronin tried to
hold back a
smirk.
I frowned, suddenly
speaking up,
“The disrespect is
crazy. Cerise is my
cousin so please
don’t talk crap
about her!”
Both Nina and Ami
gasped.
I glared at both
of them with an
intense gaze.
