I open my eyes in
sheer horror, feeling
Tetsu’s room shake
violently.
Our only safe haven
is now being destroyed.
Many objects fall to the
ground and shatter as
if they were delicate
antiques or glass
artifacts.
Tetsu wakes up
while sitting on
the windowsill.
I scream at the top
of my lungs as the
ground beneath us
begins to crack apart,
revealing a dark void.
Tetsu jumps onto the
bed face first,
wearing a panicked
and confused
expression.
I clutch Tetsu’s
hand tightly as the
two of us fall below,
leaving our safe
haven.
We descend deeper
and deeper into the
abyss.
Tetsu keeps hold of
my hand, and I hold
onto his.
As I lose consciousness,
a vision of stern red eyes
appears.
It’s Ronin’s fault
all of this is
happening.
