After a few minutes
of long silence, Ami,
Nina, and Tetsu enter
the room.
The three of them look
as if they’ve succumbed
to darkness.
As they sit down, Ami
and Nina wears wicked
smirks, dressed in nice,
rich attire.
Tetsu isn’t smiling
and he makes eye
contact with me.
I quickly look away,
feeling a bit strange.
I sense a small
flicker of light in
him—hope,
maybe?
Cerise enters the dining
room, going over to Ronin
as she greets him with a
hug and a kiss.
Cassandra and Adam
exit the kitchen with
mystery dishes.
I wonder what’s for
dinner.
