As I hold Tsukino’s hand,
I lead her to the food court,
where there are various
smells of different
cuisines.
“What should we eat today?”
I ask her, curious about
her decision.
“We should have some
Chinese. Specifically,
General Tso’s chicken.”
“Sounds like a good
choice.”
“Yes it does.”
In 10 minutes, Tsukino
and I have our food
and are sitting at a
nice, comfortable
brown booth in
the food court
area.
We both sit side by
side, with our mall
bags placed next
to us.
I ordered a meal for
two: General Tso’s
chicken, fried rice,
and veggie egg
rolls.
For our drinks, it’s
simple green melon
juice.
“Thank you, Tetsu.”
Tsukino exclaims
before she begins
to eat.
